  2. NEW FEATURES in APP LAUNCHER V3.0  (4/98)

  5. 1) Schedule launches of applications ("exe" files).
  6.    Tell APP LAUNCHER when to run your programs.
  7.    Four scheduling methods are available: one-time launch,
  8.    daily, weekly, and monthly.
  9.  
  10. 2) View a list of the scheduled application launches and
  11.    double-click on an item to make changes.
  12.  
  13. 3) Favorites menu: Add buttons that you frequently use to
  14.    launch applications or open documents and folders to the
  15.    Favorites menu. This gives the user access to those buttons
  16.    without having to change categories.The applications on the
  17.    Favorites menu can be launched by clicking on the name
  18.    of the button from the favorites menu.

  20. 4) Shift groups of buttons left or right within
  21.    a category of buttons.
  22.  
  23. 5) The APP LAUNCHER icon is placed in the system area of
  24.    the taskbar, and not as a larger button on the taskbar
  25.    itself. The icon can be used to toggle the visibility
  26.    of the program's main window, and to exit the program.

  28. 6) A tutorial is available to help user's learn
  29.    about APP LAUNCHER's basic features. The tutorial guides
  30.    user's through the process of creating, using, deleting,
  31.    moving, and copying buttons. Adding buttons to the
  32.    Favorites menu is also covered.

  34. 7) Choose from among 6 formats for the display of the
  35.    category name in the caption bar of the main window.

  41. 1) Change categories using the UP and DOWN arrow keys
  42.    or the PAGE UP/DOWN keys.

  44. 2) Deselect the button selected in the Move, Copy, or
  45.    Copy Icon mode using the ESC key.

  47. 3) Exit out of the Move, Copy, Copy Icon, Delete, or
  48.    Properties mode using the ESC or HOME keys.

  50. 4) Specify the default (or "working") directory
  51.    associated with an application.

  53. 5) Specify a string of command-line parameters to pass
  54.    to an application when launching it.

  64. REGISTRATION of Version 3.0

  67. If you have version 1.0 or 2.0 of APP LAUNCHER and it is registered,
  68. then version 3.0 will automatically register itself.
  69. No additional registration fee is required in this case.

  71. Version 3.0 will run for only 3 days if a prior version of
  72. APP LAUNCHER is on your computer, and it is unregistered
  73. and has expired.
  74.  
  75. If you do not have any previous versions of App Launcher on
  76. your computer, then version 3.0 will expire after 15 days
  77. if it is unregistered.
